As part of our strategic plan, the Snake River Section decided to develop a professional development program for high school chemistry teachers on a biennial basis (every 2 years). We know from local teachers and the Division of Extended Studies at Boise State that there is a vital community need for organizations to provide professional development opportunities.
The objectives of these workshops are to a) provide activities, training and content that chemistry teachers can bring back to their classrooms, b) provide teachers graduate-level credit, and c) develop a strong relationship with teachers in the region.
